

TSAP focuses on design in terms of Art, Culture, Architecture, Technology and the urgent demands of Sustainable Environment. Our programmes shall stress on critical inquiry, research and innovation as part of the design thinking and creative process. We shall teach our students how to intervene in the physical world through thoughtful actions. The school shall engage, explore and address the ethical & social dimensional diversities of architecture both rural and urban environment. Through these engagements, we shall seek to develop an ethos of responsibility in the students, preparing them to become effective leaders in practices and discourses surrounding the complex global and local issues of our time.
Mumbai offers rich  opportunities for learning and creative practices. The city has a long and  distinctive architecture and planning history and a sustained legacy of  innovation. TSAP aims to be a center for design excellence and Mumbai is at the  forefront of urban design, addressing critical issues facing this contemporary  city at large. 
		      The teaching philosophy  of TSAP shall recognize materiality space, light, design and dimension that  define the architecture field. The curriculum addresses a range of material  practices, media and scales of fabrication. We shall encourage digital,  physical, and hybrid methods of design and visualization that emphasize upon  iterative process and experimentation.
The faculty will follow the multiple modes of leadership practiced by leading architects, environment professionals and embrace this diversity. In curricula and research, the school shall address the complex socio-economic, environmental, cultural and political dynamics of the contemporary city and explore opportunities for design in a world impacted by globalization.
