Eligibility

For admission to B.Arch Programme:

(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate, All India Candidature Candidate, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidate :-

  1. The Candidate should be an Indian National;
  2. Passed HSC or its equivalent with Mathematics and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% marks in aggregate in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) ;

    OR

    Passed (10+3) Full time Diploma examination recognized by All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government or its equivalent examination and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate (at least 45% marks in aggregate in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) with Mathematics as compulsory subject;
  3. The Candidate should have obtained at least 40% marks at National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA), conducted by the Council of Architecture;

(2) Children of NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National :-

  1. The Candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Mathematics and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate;

    OR

    Candidate should have passed Full time Diploma (10+3) examination recognized by All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government or its equivalent examination and obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate;
  2. Any other criterion declared by appropriate authority from time to time.

Aptitude Test:
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture is mandatory for admission to first year B. Arch course for all architectural institutions in the country.

Eligibility Criteria for Candidates

Taking NATA-2017

There is NO lower age limit to apply for NATA 2017. The NOTE below may be referred. Candidates may come from the following backgrounds:

  1. 10+2 or equivalent passed/appearing with Mathematics as one of the subjects of examination;
  2. 10+3 Diploma (any stream) passed/appearing recognized by Central/State Govts with Mathematics as one of the subjects of examination;
  3. International Baccalaureate Diploma passed/appearing, after 10 years of Schooling with Mathematics as compulsory subject of examination.
NOTE: THE LOWER AGE LIMIT FOR APPEARING IN NATA-2017 HAS BEEN WAIVED. HOWEVER, THE CANDIDATE HAS TO COMPLY WITH ANY AGE CONSTRAINTS THAT MAY BE SPECIFIED BY RESPECTIVE COUNSELLING/ ADMISSION AUTHORITY.

In order to pass the architectural Aptitude Test, a candidate must obtain a minimum of 40% marks.
